500W Mos Fet Power Inverter from 12V to 110V 220V

500W Mos-Fet Power Inverter from 12V to 110V/220V This circuit will provide a very stable "Square Wave" Output Voltage. Frequency of operation is determined by a pot and is normally set to 60 Hz. Various "off the shelf" transformers can be used. Or Custom wind your own FOR BEST RESULTS. Additional MosFets can be paralleled for higher power. It is recommended to Have a "Fuse" in the Power Line and to always have a "Load connected", while power is being applied. The Fuse should be rated at 32 volts and should be approximately 10 Amps per 100 watts of output. The Power leads must be heavy enough wire to handle this High Current Draw!

Simple Inverter Circuit Diagram

Have you ever wanted to run a TV, stereo or other appliance while on the road or camping? Well, this inverter should solve that problem. It takes 12 VDC and steps it up to 120 VAC. The wattage depends on which tansistors you use for Q1 and Q2, as well as how "big" a transformer you use for T1. The inverter can be constructed to supply anywhere from 1 to 1000 (1 KW) watts. Simple Inverter Circuit Diagram Parts: C1, C2 68 uf, 25 V Tantalum Capacitor R1, R2 10 Ohm, 5 Watt Resistor R3, R4 180 Ohm, 1 Watt Resistor D1, D2 HEP 154 Silicon Diode Q1, Q2 2N3055 NPN Transistor (see "Notes") T1 24V, Center Tapped Transformer (see "Notes") MISC Wire, Case, Receptical (For Output) Notes: 1. Q1 and Q2, as well as T1, determine how much wattage the inverter can supply. With Q1,Q2=2N3055 and T1= 15 A, the inverter can supply about 300 watts. Larger transformers and more powerful transistors can be substituted for T1, Q1 and Q2 for more power. 2. The easiest and least expen...

100W Inverter Circuit Diagram

Here is a 100 Watt inverter circuit using minimum number of components. I think it is quite difficult to make a decent one like this with further less components. Here we use CD 4047 IC from Texas Instruments for generating the 100 Hz pulses and four 2N3055 transistors for driving the load. The IC1 Cd4047 wired as an astable multivibrator produces two 180 degree out of phase 100 Hz pulse trains. These pulse trains are preamplified by the two TIP122 transistors. The out puts of the TIP 122 transistors are amplified by four 2N3055 transistors (two transistors for each half cycle) to drive the inverter transformer. The 220V AC will be available at the secondary of the transformer . Nothing complex just the elementary inverter principle and the circuit works great for small loads like a few bulbs or fans.If you need just a low cost inverter in the region of 100 W, then this is the best. DC to AC Inverter with 555 Circuit Diagram

This circuit is more of a DC to AC inverter, it uses a 555 IC as a low frequency oscillator, adjustable, adjustment can be done by the potentiometer R4 and frequency should be between 50-60 Hertz. The pulses from the IC 555 will go to Q1 and Q2 are amplified and sent to the transformer T1, which has its winding reversed. Simple Fluorescent Lamp Inverter Circuit Diagram

This is the Simple Fluorescent Lamp Inverter Circuit Diagram. This inverter is very easy to construct, reliable, and even powerful enough to light up a 15W florescent tube (if you cool your transistor well). The only hard-to-find piece of this baby is the so-called yellow inverter transformer. It's a miniature high frequency transformer that has a 25mm x 20mm x 5mm ferrite core, 30 turns of primary, 15 turns of feedback, and 250 turns of secondary all concentric, wound on plastic frame than wrapped with a 'yellow' adhesive tape. If you can't find it in your local electronic shops then search for old portable rechargeble florescent lanterns since they have at least one yellow inverter. Of course you can wind a handmade transformer which would do the same but it is a very difficult task when you don't have an original to inspire and it will still need an appropriate ferrite core. 250W Inverter 555 timer IC1

This is a simple circuit of 250w inverter.  A 555 timer (IC1) generates a 120-Hz signal that is fed to a CD4013BE flip-flop (ICl-a), which divides the input frequency by two to generate a 60-Hz clocking frequency for the FET array (Ql through Q6). Transformer Tl is a 12-/24-V center-tapped 60-Hz transformer of suitable size. 250W Inverter Circuit Diagram:

12V Fluorescent Light Inverter

This is a low voltage 12V fluorescent inverter for powering two 20W or single 40W fluorescent tube. It's a circuit you can put together from junk box components and is a very simple to build. The transformer is hand-wound on a ferrite rod from an old transistor radio and the winding wire can be salvaged from an old transformer. The cost of powering the circuit is about 22 watts and this will produce the same light output as 60 watt incandescent light bulb. With a normal fluoro operating on the 240v mains, a ballast (or choke) is needed in series with the tube to limit the current after the tube has "struck". This ballast dissipates about 10-20 watts for a 20 watt tube and reduces the efficiency of the circuit.  If the ballast is replaced with an electronic circuit and high-frequency transformer, the losses are less than 5 watts. Furthermore, if we do not drive the tube as hard as the 240v version we can get even better efficiency.  The size of tube, you will need, will de...

500W Low Cost 12V to 220V Inverter

Note : This Circuit is using high voltage that is lethal. Please take appropriate precautions Using this circuit you can convert the 12V dc in to the 220V Ac. In this circuit 4047 is use to generate the square wave of 50hz and amplify the current and then amplify the voltage by using the step transformer. How to calculate transformer rating The basic formula is P=VI and between input output of the transformer we have Power input = Power output For example if we want a 220W output at 220V then we need 1A at the output. Then at the input we must have at least 18.3V at 12V because: 12V*18.3 = 220v*1 So you have to wind the step up transformer 12v to 220v but input winding must be capable to bear 20A. Simple Arduino Sine Wave Inverter Circuit

In this post we are going to construct a sine wave inverter using Arduino. We will explore the methodology of the proposed sine wave inverter and finally, we will take a look at simulated output of this inverter. By  Girish Radhakrishnan Inverters saved us from short term power cuts at home, industries and emergency rooms. The quality of power of delivered by inverters vary depending on what kind of inverter is used. Inverters are classified into three types: square wave, modified sine wave and pure sine wave inverters. A square wave inverter has poor quality output and contains lot of harmonic noise which may not suitable for many electronic gadgets. Its wave form goes up and down peak. But, resistive loads such as incandescent bulbs, heater and some devices which employees SMPS don’t exhibit problem with square wave inverters. A modified sine wave or modified square wave to be precise can run most of the electronic gadgets without much issue. The wave form goes peak up and come d...
