Today I’d like to show you the booster pedal I made. It’s a straight clone of an MXR Microamp. The Microamp is a great booster pedal because it simply adds volume. You can use this to just increase the volume of your guitar for solos, or you can use it to overdrive your amp. The choice is yours. The Portable Solar Lantern

This portable solar lantern circuit uses 6 volt/5 watt solar panels are now widely available. With the help of such a photo-voltaic panel we can construct an economical, simple but efficient and truly portable solar lantern unit. Next important component required is a high power (1watt) white LED module. When solar panel is well exposed to sunlight, about 9 volt dc available from the panel can be used to recharge a 4.8 volt /600 mAh rated Ni-Cd batterypack. Here red LED (D2) functions as a charging process indicator with the help of resistor R1. Resistor R2 regulates the charging current flow to near 150mA. What is the Frequency Response of RC Coupled Amplifier

Frequency response of RC Coupled Amplifier Frequency response of R.C coupled amplifier is uniform over mid frequency range of 50 Hz to 20 KHz. The voltage gain drops off at low < 50 Hz and high > 20 KHz frequencies. The frequency response curve of RC coupled amplifier is shown in the below fig. the behaviour of the amplifier is given below. Today we’re going to talk about the standard 5-way switch used in Fender Strat-style guitars—how it works, how to wire it up and variations of the switch itself. Back when Strats were first made, they came with a 3-way switch (one position for each pickup), but some savvy guitarists soon realized that if they moved the switch into a position midway between two of the “official” positions, they could get two of the pickups to turn on at the same time, resulting in new sound options.  This happened because the switch was what is known as a “make before break” switch, which means it touches the next contact before disconnecting from the previous one. The Smallest Arduino Clone Possible

Everybody are making Arduino clones. So I thought I should make THE smallest. I took smallest package atmega88 – 28qfn (5mm x 5mm). Routed smallest possible resonator and as much pads as i could fit on in. The result – Smallest Arduino clone ever! Size is only 7.4mm x 7.4mm! Features include: Auto reset UART SPI 4 analog channels 1 digital i/o one LED funny readme with BOM It needs arduino bootloader for atmega88 like ottantotto bootloader, probably it needs some hacking too because the resonator is 8MHz not the Arduino regular 16MHz.
