Now Oyster Releases the First True Netflix-for-E-books App . Netflix and Spotify have built multi-billion dollar enterprises by offering subscription services for film and music, respectively, but no company has actually made this form work for digital publications. Now, Oyster has disclosed its first try to change that. Oyster, a New York-based startup, made headlines late last year when it broadcast lifting $3 million from Founders finance to construct out a service that would offer "unlimited access" to e-books. On Thursday, the startup commenced its e-reading app for iPhone, which is accessible on a first-come, first-served invitation-only cornerstone for now. With the iPhone app, users get access to more than 100,000 ebooks from hundreds of publishers including Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, Melville House and one of the "big five" announcing houses, HarperCollins. Real Time Clock Using the PIC16CXXX Circuit Diagram

A very simple real time clock electronic project can be designed using the PIC16CXXX microcontroller family , designed by Microchip Technology . This real time clock electronic project uses the Timer1 module, from a mid-range PIC16CXXX microcontroller, to control a low-power real-time clock. Timer1 was chosen because it has its own crystal which allows the module to operate during sleep. Upon power-up, the device is initialized with the display starting at 12:00 PM, and Timer1 is configured to generate an interrupt (every second). The Timer1 overflow interrupt wakes the device from sleep. This causes the time registers (HRS, MIN, SECS) to be updated. If the SECS register contains an even value (SECS<0> = 0), the colon (":") is not displayed. This gives a visual indication for each second. Then the device returns to sleep. Solving the problem on tv tuner

Samsung launches the Omnia M Windows Phone in Europe

Samsung is launching the Omnia M, a new Windows Phone 7-based device, in Europe. The Windows Phone 7.5-equipped handset ships with a 4-inch Super AMOLED display and 1GHz processor. The device features a minimalist design with rounded edges and a curved back. According to Samsung, the case was designed ergonomically so it "sits comfortably in your hand." The real focus of the Omnia M is its social features, which include access to the company's Family Story, a cloud-based network for family members to share messages, videos, and photos. Samsung has also bundled its ChatON service with the device, allowing users to engage in group chatting and messaging across several platforms, including iOS and Android. The LM3909 is an integrated circuit (IC) which will flash a light-emitting diode (LED). Using only two extra components and a battery, the circuit is cheap and has a very low current drain from a 1.5 V cell. The circuit can be used as a novelty flasher, an indicator for a dummy alarm bell box, or it could be attached to a torch so that it could be found easily in the dark!
